About the event

The Deaf-Hearing Communication Centre (DHCC) will host its first ever Pickleball tournament! We are excited to bring together the community for this opportunity to showcase skills, meet other Pickleball enjoyers, and enjoy the event as a community space to be in.

DHCC welcomes those who are interested in a friendly yet competetive enviroment for pickleball to register for DHCC’s 1st Pickleball Tournament!! It will be held April 12th, from 9AM-5PM in the Pennsylvania School for The Deaf Gym.

There will be a $30 Registration Fee.

For skill levels 3.0 / 3.5 Rating.

Basic food and drink will be provided.

Parking is available at Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. - 100 W School house ln, Philadelphia pa 19144 PSD GYM Tournament Bracket Details - The tournament will have two flights, one for players with a 3.0 rating and one for 3.5 rated players.  There will be 32 players total, 16 for each level.   It is played as a scramble format - meaning that you’ll have different partners each time you play. Games are set to first-to-11 OR whoever is winning after 25 minutes.  This will ensure that everyone plays at least X matches in the morning. The morning matches are set up to create a set of rankings that will segue into the afternoon bracket play (eg: #1 rank will play #16 and so on). The form to register is with this event page.
