DHCC is successful because it is a partnership of Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing individuals working to improve communication access.

We have volunteer opportunities in the office and look for people with administrative, computer and writing skills. We do not provide direct service so there is minimal interaction with the Deaf community. However, your volunteer service at DHCC does assist Deaf and hard of hearing people indirectly.

Board positions are filled by dedicated volunteers who are Deaf or hard of hearing consumers, hearing individuals with Deaf or hard of hearing family members, Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing professionals working in the field of deafness and business people with expertise to offer in accounting, human resources or the legal arena.
